home delivery

definition of home delivery:-
you order something through the phone, online or over the counter….
and they do home delivery for you… same day, next day, or a day of your choice..

i assume MOST of us have dialled for fast food home delivery before…
and the conversation will normally go like this….

XX: ** delivery, how can i help you?
KT: Hello, do you have anything for 2 person?
XX: Yes Mdm, we have *** for two, which comes with *** and *** costing $xx.xx.
KT: Ok, I’ll take that.. Roughly come long will it take to arrive?
XX: Mdm, it will take about 30 mins. Let me repeat your order……xxxxxxxxxxx..
Your order number is xxxxxx.
KT: Thank you!

——– hangs up ——–

But the conversation i had for the past 2 months… is like this…

XX: ** delivery, how can i help you?
KT: Hello, do you have anything for 2 person?
XX: Yes Mdm, we have *** for two, which comes with *** and *** costing $xx.xx.
KT: Ok, I’ll take that.. Roughly come long will it take to arrive?

XX: I’m sorry, Mdm. Currently we are unable to deliver as all our guys are out.
Would you like to pick up at XXX Branch at 15% discount?

KT: *speechless*

after the THIRD time receiving this StandArD reply, i got really pissed off…

KT: CAN YOU KINDLY JUST INFORM ME EARLIER WITHOUT TAKING MY ORDER?

I got this kind of response for 5 times…. and it really really pisses me off..
You call Fast Food delivery because:-

1) You’re lazy to cook
2) You’re lazy to drive
3) You’re simply just LAZY…

and to think they ask you to go down to get it? discounted rate?
and wat.. DID I JUST CALL A HOME DELIVERY SERVICE?? HELLO??!!

anyway, if you notice this company’s advertisement nowadays, they added a clause…. that under circumstances where they are unable to deliver, we have a choice to pick up..

well, in my opinion….. JUST STOP YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE THEN!
